Tait Harvey- Head Swim Coach

Tait Harvey started his swimming career as an Old Pike Shark at the age of 7. He was awarded most improved at that young age and never stopped putting his efforts into swimming and building lifelong friendships at the pool. Tait is a distance freestyler  and backstroker who graduated from Liberty High School in 2020 as the most decorated state medal winner of his class.

Tait continued his swimming career at Lindenwood University where he was awarded the Heart of the Lion his junior year and elected captain his senior year. He is graduating from Lindenwood in May with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and sports management. He is currently working with Sporting KC as a member of the  game day operations staff.

Tait’s coaching career began with a Northland Swim Conference summer swim team as an assistant coach. This summer he will be on deck with Club North Swimming as an assistant coach and is really excited to be the head coach of Old Pike where it all began.

Henry Kasyjanski - Assistant Swim Coach

Hello everyone, My name is Henry Kasyjanski. I started swimming at Old Pike when I was eight years old and attended every conference until I graduated from high school.  I spent those winters swimming competitively at Northland United and later Club North. I attended Rockhurst High School and participated in their swim and dive program all four years, ultimately leading the team as head captain my senior year. I currently attend the University of Kentucky, where I study Neuroscience. I spent my last two summers as a coach, then head coach, of Blue Hills Country Club (who happen to be the sharks as well!). I am very excited to make a return to coaching and to the Old Pike Community! Once a Shark, always a Shark!
