Old Pike is offering summer swim lessons for children ages 3 and up exclusively to Old Pike Members. Classes allow your child to develop good habits in, on, and near water, become comfortable in the water and become stronger, safer swimmers. Swim sessions will be limited to 6 participants and a parent or guardian must be with the partcipant in the water. We currently have 2 sessions scheduled, but will open up other sessions if we have enough demand.
Mollie is a freshman in college, swimming Division 1 at Saint Louis University. There, she is studying International Studies, Psychology, and Spanish.
She began swimming at Old Pike at the age of five and began club swimming at the age of seven for Blue Wave swim team. During middle school and high school, she was a part of Club North Swimming’s National Team and represented them in sectional and national level meets around the country. Swimming for high school for one year, she represented North Kansas City High School at Missouri State Championships, achieving the 8th fastest 100-butterfly time in the state as a freshman. Mollie currently holds seven of her high school’s records (and some Old Pike records, too!).
She has been a member of Old Pike for her entire life and can remember helping with Pike Tykes from a young age. Mollie has been teaching swim lessons since she was 12 years old and loves it! She has worked with ages one to twelve over the last seven years and cannot wait to share her passion for the sport with your swimmers!
